Gary Ashford (Client Service Director)
Gary works in our National Tax Investigations team, specialising
in tax investigations involving companies, individuals and
employees. He leads our midlands team.
Experience
Gary joined us at Grant Thornton in 2003. Previously he has
worked with a Big 4 firm and before that was a corporate tax fraud
investigator for HM Revenue & Customs.
With 20 years experience in tax investigation matters, Gary is
also branch chairman for the Chartered Institute of Taxes in
Birmingham and West Midlands, and is Vice Chairman of the CIOT
Management of Taxes Subcommittee.
