Hugh Gregory (Partner)
Hugh is a partner in our Forensic and
Investigation Services Department, specialising in personal injury
and commercial insurance claims.
Experience
Hugh joined RSM Robson Rhodes in 1973 (partnership in 1987) that
became part of Grant Thornton when the firms merged in July
2007.
Hugh has specialised in forensic accounting and investigations
since 1981. He has acted in over 1,400 cases and given evidence in
over 30 civil or criminal cases. He has been appointed an Inspector
under s105 of the Financial Services Act and has assisted in other
regulatory investigations.
Hugh's expertise covers:
- Personal injury claims including periodical payments, being an
acknowledged expert witness
- Handling high volume insurance claim work including
professional negligence, business interruption, motor and fidelity
claims
- Claims arising from libel, racial discrimination, divorce, and
a number of commercial matters
- Fraud investigations, and financial reporting relating to other
criminal charges
