Brian Shearer (Director)
Brian works in our National Client Services
Support Department, specialising in financial reporting issues.
Experience
Brian joined Grant Thornton as an articled clerk in 1970. He
became Grant Thornton's National technical partner in 1983
following a two-year secondment to the IASC. He has over 30 years
experience as a specialist in financial reporting, and has been a
member for more than 10 years of the ASB's Urgent Issues Task
Force, the ICAEW's Financial Reporting Committee and the CBI's
Financial Reporting Panel.

- UK GAAP and IFRS accounting and reporting issues and
interpretations
