David Barnes (Partner)

David Barnes works in our London office, specialising in education, pensions and corporate audit work.

Experience

David joined us at Grant Thornton in 2007 following the merger with RSM Robson Rhodes.  He joined Robson Rhodes in 1981 as an audit trainee based in our London office since when he has worked in a number of different departments, including corporate finance and financial services. He has also worked for two years in the Unites States.

His experience includes audit and reporting accountant work on listed companies, audit and related services to private companies, financial institutions, pensions, universities and colleges. 

Since 1999 David led the development of the RSM Robson Rhodes national education practice, a role he now continues to carry out within Grant Thornton.

With over 25 years of experience, David is able to provide advice and service to our clients based on a wide range of experience.
