David Smith (Client Service Director)
David leads our London public sector PFI/PPP
Advisory team with a current focus on local authorities. He is a
badged valuation expert within GIA. Prior to joining Grant
Thornton, David worked in PricewaterhouseCoopers providing project
and corporate finance advice including strategic valuation advice
for M&A, regulation and privatisation purposes with a focus on
energy and high technology. He has extensive international
experience in privatisation, regulation and restructuring.
Experience
Recent PP/PFI projects include 10 major schemes for London
region local authorities and a number of private sector project
investors in PFI. Valuation work includes renewables, green energy
and transport businesses.
