Des Mannion (Director)
Des joined Grant Thornton in 1986 (in our Leicester office) and
qualified as a chartered accountant in 1990. After a short
secondment to National Training Des moved there full time in 1990,
and in his time there set up Recovery Training in the firm. Des
transferred into the Recovery practice in 1999 and worked with
R&R management (mainly Scott Barnes and Simon Morris) for 8
years on both partner/staff development and supporting them manage
the practice. He transferred to National Management in 2008 where
his role is mainly focused on managing the partner/director
preparation process and pipeline, but he also works with the NLB
(primarily Scott Barnes, Simon Morris and Sacha Romanovitch) on a
variety of operational, management and people related projects.
