Daniel Smith (Partner)
Daniel works in our Recovery & Reorganisation
practice, where he specialises in advising banks and their
customers on the many intricacies in business, management and
financial risk, providing constructive, practical and preventative
solutions for businesses in difficulty.
Experience
Daniel joined Grant Thornton in 2003. He has
wide-ranging experience of corporate finance, investigations,
due diligence and advisory work. In the past five years he
has led in excess of 50 business reviews. This has often included
identifying and developing financial restructuring opportunities,
supported by a combination of capital raising, disposal of non-core
businesses and strategic change. In addition, his experience
has included M&A work, IPO's, MBO's and enterprise
valuations.
